From the journal of Kildrak Stoneheart:
With no fellow dwarfs in the party our progress towards eradicating this evil scourge from Tyrrn has been slow indeed. It seems we had barely entered the temple to do a little house cleaning when Arandur Eternal, a valiant fighter but completely lacking in endurance, was asking for a respite to recover his strength. It seemed the rest of the party was also feeling exhausted so we retreated from the temple to find a safe place to camp and recover.
Our new druidic friend Eridan Equis pitched camp and issued some wards around the camp, which proved of little use. During our time resting we were set upon by hounds straight from hell itself, burning with the eternal fire of that accursed realm. Thanks to the sharp ears of my associates, we were prepared for the arrival of the hell hounds and made quick work of the foul beasts. We then remained in place for the remainder of the time the team needed to rest, on the assumption that the tieflings would rather fight us on their turf than send more attacks at our campsite.
Upon return to the temple we encountered no new resistance in any of the rooms that we had previously visited, and luckily we continued to feel the blessing of the unfortunate souls who made this building their permanent resting place (I am not even sure a temple this vile can be redeemed, it may simply need to be destroyed). Progressing further into the temple we encountered another room with several ceremonial tombs in it. After looking at the first 2 tombs, which were empty, it appeared that they would all be empty in the same manner. The Deva was able to recall much about the history of those previously buried in these tombs, his knowledge of history is impressive to say the least. Unfortunately, we proved to be wrong about all of the tombs being empty, and while the Deva and I were attempting to uncover one still occupied an enemy imp attacked. With our attention paid to the imp who attacked, we almost missed the rise of the skeleton straight out of the tomb that we were examining. At the same time, the entire room seemed to come to life as complete skeletons began to emerge from the walls and floor to attack us. I used all of my tactics to draw their attacks towards me to allow the rest of the party to deal with them unhindered. In short time, despite a continuous stream of skeletons emerging from the walls and floors, we were able to dispatch this undead force and the imps along with them.
