From the Journal of Arandur Eternal
It is decided. Not only will I avenge my friend and partner Wyjen Hazaan but I bring down the temple that has housed the cult responsible. Not only did the ancient architects feel it necessary to use bones to build a unholy sepulcher they refuse to respect their own honored dead instead using them against us. They shame them, at least they will be visiting them in hell soon enough. I am sure retribution will be harsh and I am glad to provide it.
These thoughts crystalize as we start to meet other denizens living in the crypt. A dangurous ooze, or to be more precise a black pudding. Though I regret that I was not able to identify the exact type before it literally smacked Kildrak Stoneheart in the face. Luckily my forwarning of a foe prepared the stout dwarf with a riposte. The battle was viscous and it wasn’t for Kildrak’s crushing hammer and Eridan’s green thumb we would have been victims of the pair of puddings that we faced. Much like the scoured bones in their hallway.
The fight did prove to be fruitful though. For we have gained a Sunblade. Truely a blessing from Ioun, for the best way find hidden knowledge is through light. On closer inspection of the blade I didn’t realize what a boon was had. For we had found the fabled blade Solarion. An ancient blade wielded by Ankerion. To retrieve this relic from the despicable tiefling sanctum brings me hope. I will respect this blade and restore honor to Ankerion’s name, before I return it to Khotham where it belongs.
