I’ve forgotten the day, it’s been too long since we’ve gone down into this forsaken area. After the experiments with the potions, and my stomach settled somewhat, we were moving on to the next room. In there, we found an ornate fountain, some statues, and an argument that lasted forever. For some reason, the rest of the group really wanted to take the fountain with them. The spent what felt like two hours talking about it, trying to figure out if their bags could hold them, where they would need to cut in order to best be able to reassemble, and other assorted nonsense.
When we got tired and tried to leave, the golems attacked! They hit like, well, stone. Turns out the other statues weren’t so friendly. They smacked around the supporting pillars in the room and beat me up something fierce. I’m going to be feeling that in the morning. Luckily, we did manage to take them out. However, one of them exploded. Makes sense, given that these were here to protect something, and not, say, a green dragon or something strange like that.
After the last golem was taken out, the room began collapsing. I took the initiative and charged the gates, smacking it down with my hammer. The rest of the group barely made it out. I don’t think we’re going back that way.
Afterwards, we made it to a room with a hammer. I recognized it, it was the hammer from my vision! It was being held in some sort of trap, but Kildrak was brave and foolish enough to go for it. The rest of us helped, and he claimed the Hammer of Thunderbolts, which was used by Kord himself. It’s…a nice hammer. I like it. A lot.
